The Hypo Florida Kingsnake is one of the most striking kingsnake morphs available. This recessive genetic mutation reduces dark black and brown pigments, creating a much brighter, lighter snake with enhanced orange, yellow, or brown tones. The result is an incredibly beautiful snake that stands out in any collection.

Known for their calm temperament and hardy nature, Florida Kingsnakes make excellent pets for both beginners and experienced keepers. They are inquisitive, active snakes that quickly become confident in captivity and are well known for their strong feeding response and straightforward husbandry.

Captive-bred Florida Kingsnakes are easy to care for and thrive in a secure enclosure with appropriate heating, fresh water, hiding places, and a regular feeding schedule. As adults they typically reach 90–120cm in length.
