Ultimate Exotics Repti-Shed™ is an easy-to-use shedding aid designed to help loosen and remove dry or stuck shed from snakes and lizards. It helps lubricate, soften and moisturise retained shed, making stubborn areas easier to remove.

Repti-Shed™ can be particularly useful for problem areas such as retained eye caps, tail tips and toe sheds, helping make the shedding process easier and more comfortable for your reptile.

Directions for Use
Lightly spray Repti-Shed™ onto the area of stuck shed and gently massage it into the affected area. If the shed remains stuck, repeat the application the following day. Allow approximately 30 minutes for the product to work before gently loosening and removing any stubborn shed.

For more severe cases, spray the reptile with Repti-Shed™ and place it in a container with a shallow amount of lukewarm water. Allowing the reptile to soak can help further soften and loosen stubborn shed.

Stuck or dry shed (dysecdysis) can often be associated with environmental conditions such as insufficient humidity, unsuitable temperatures or inappropriate enclosure conditions. Always check that your reptile’s temperature and humidity levels are appropriate for its species.
