Isopods are ideal for cleaning and bringing life to the environments of your terrariums, vivariums, paludariums and more.

Porcellio scaber, the common Isopod / wood louse (and other types of isopods) are helpful in keeping many types of fungus, rotting organic matter and detritus created by the various pets kept in captivity, under control.

They also create their own waste which is useful as light fertiliser for enclosures containing living plants. They can even be eaten by creatures that are small enough to catch them.
