Ultimate Exotics delivers reptile products, feeder foods and livestock throughout South Africa. Delivery options and charges are calculated according to the products ordered and the customer’s delivery location.
Delivery Within South Africa
Standard orders are delivered by courier directly to the physical address provided during checkout.
Delivery generally takes approximately 2–3 business days. Orders sent to outlying areas may require an additional one or two business days.
Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.
Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated automatically according to your location and added to your order during checkout.
Heavy, large or oversized products may carry an additional delivery charge. This will be calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
We always endeavour to provide the best available delivery rate for your order.
Order Tracking
Orders sent using our standard courier service can be tracked online. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Frozen Products
Frozen products are dispatched on Mondays using dry ice. The normal 2–3 business-day delivery period begins from the date on which the frozen order is dispatched.
Customers should therefore allow additional time when placing frozen-product orders later in the week.
Feeder Foods
Delivery charges for feeder foods are calculated according to the order and delivery location. The applicable charge will be added automatically during checkout.
Livestock Deliveries
Livestock cannot be sent using our standard courier service.
All livestock is carefully packed according to recognised animal-shipping standards and transported using a specialised delivery service. Delivery costs are calculated according to the customer’s province and added to the cart during checkout.
Ultimate Exotics guarantees the live arrival of healthy animals. If there is a concern with an animal when it arrives, please contact us immediately.
International Livestock Orders
International livestock orders are welcome, subject to a minimum order value of USD 2,000.
International deliveries may involve additional transport, documentation, permit and handling fees. Please contact Ultimate Exotics before placing an international order so that the applicable requirements and costs can be confirmed.
Customers are responsible for confirming that they are legally permitted to keep and import the animals they purchase, including obtaining any required import or captivity permits.
Delivery Delays
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact us so that we can investigate it with the courier or specialised delivery provider.
