Crested Geckos are fantastic pets, known for their gentle nature, unique appearance and relatively easy care requirements. They are mostly nocturnal, making them fascinating to watch and enjoy in the evening. One of the biggest advantages of keeping a Crested Gecko is how easy they are to feed. They can thrive on specially formulated, nutritionally balanced meal-replacement powdered diets that are simply mixed with water, making feeding convenient and mess-free.

Crested Geckos also have relatively simple heating and lighting requirements. They do not require special UV lighting or a high-temperature basking spot. During warmer months, additional heating is often unnecessary, provided room temperatures remain suitable. During colder winter months, a gentle warm spot of around 28°C can be provided when needed.

With the correct enclosure, humidity, temperature and diet, Crested Geckos are hardy, rewarding pets that are suitable for both beginners and experienced reptile keepers.
