Blue Steel is a son of Blue Boy.  Blue Steel has a background colour of grey instead of green. The melanins are dark brown instead of black, and the blue areas are bright Blue.

The Blue colour in Veiled Chamleons is polygenic so not every Hatchling is blue.  However, Selective breeding is resulting in more and more Individuals growing out Blue.  We find that all babies hatch green, at this point the blue develops from 6 months of age.
