Care Information

Kenyan Sand Boas thrive in a warm, dry enclosure with a deep layer of suitable burrowing substrate. Provide a warm basking area of 32–35°C and a cooler end of 24–27°C to allow proper thermoregulation, this can be achieved with a heat pad or a basking lamp. Fresh water should always be available, and a secure hide can be offered, although many individuals prefer to spend their time buried beneath the substrate.
